“All my life I felt darkness around me, I felt it everywhere, in my home my father was a substance abuser and in turn abused his family; to the peers in my classes who put me down emotionally by teasing me and physically by hurting me. I hated everything about myself and about this world. I had so much HATE in my heart. With all that hate and darkness in my heart, I became very suicidal as a young boy, and once I became an adult I dived head first into a lifestyle of crime, violence, and darkness. It got to the point that due to all the physical abuse, and self abuse with hard drugs (as I was a junkie), my body gave up before my soul did. Honestly I did drugs so hard because inside I just didn’t want to wake up from the high, I hated reality.

My body was in such bad shape that my family doctor diagnosed me with Chronic muscle pain (I was never to be able to do any sports, or work manual labour), the pain was so severe and lasted for so many years that I was just waiting for my mind to snap… but it didn’t…I held on to the belief that God will give me a chance to repent and undo my wrongs.

It was then that I met Dave Lanyon who introduced me to the school. Through the school I finally learned the truth about life and God. And armed with the truth I took it upon myself to do everything I could possibly do to get myself better, physically, mentally, and most important Spiritually. The results were not instant and in many times I believed that the school was doing nothing for me, but I was patient and open minded. And in time with all my efforts and the tools the school passed down to me I over came near impossible obstacles (now I fully train martial arts again and also gained close to 20 pounds of muscle over the year due to lifting weights).

What I love about this school is that they will NEVER make any choices for you or tell you what you should or must do… What the school does though is hand down the tools and also as important they offer the support so that YOU may over come your own Demon’s and obstacles, so that at the end of the day you can be proud of yourself and your own accomplishments.
